Thank you to all who presented at and attended the April 22nd Linking Watershed Conference 2008: Connecting the GREEN Dots. Over 170 participated in the day-long event.

The FREP membership meeting for April was combined with the May Noon Network and will be held:

Please park in the center lot area of the Clock Tower shopping complex, and not in the bank's parking lot.

 
      The FREP SUMMER SOCIAL this year is a Kane County Cougar's Game
Friday, July 11th   Game time:  6:30 PM   Tickets - $10/each (adult or child)
Cougars play Peoria Chiefs -- the CUB farm team coached by Ryne Sandberg
Bring your family and enjoy the game with your FREP friends!

FREP just received this message from the Association of Illinois Soil & Water Conservation Districts:

AISWCD is happy to announce that the balance due to SWCDs in the FY 2008 budget has been released! We learned of the release early this afternoon and the release of funds was due to the efforts of Senator John Sullivan and Senator Emil Jones.

On April 28th FREP received notice about several million dollars in OSLAD/Parks Development Grants being released by Governor Blagojevich.
